Congratulations! I’m so happy to be able to share these books with you, and I wish I had enough for everyone. Please send me your addresses (lesliesrajek@gmail.com) and I will have your lovely book on its way to you soon!
Thank you to everyone who wrote in (I’ll try to have more books next time!) and I’ll see you all tomorrow with a real post!
Hello Leslie, Googling ( new name for God/HigherPower, et. al) Machado’s quote I came upon your blog and thought we might have a similar tone and style, wit and come chutzpah combined with serious investigatory spirituality. Just a not to encourage your woman’s voice. I’m an Episcopal priest and author. I’m religious in a sane way. Advent in the Christian Church is no longer considered a season of penitence but one of expectancy and waiting. Gaudete is like rejoicing that the time of delivery of new life will be soon. Advent IV is to honor Mary. Advent is quite a feminine season full of beauty and hope. Thank you for your great poetry. I like it. Grace and grit and gaudet to you.

Lyn,
Thank you for visiting, and for your encouragement. I enjoyed your blog, and look forward to reading along. The title alone is wonderful: “Spiritual Lemons: Zest for Souls Challenged and Courageous.” Your description of your blog reminded me of the sentiment that sometimes the people who are hardest to love are the ones who need it the most.
All good wishes to you,
Leslie
